Clinical Provider Qualification Standards

All AAIR clinical providers must hold a current and valid license, certification, registration, or intern certification to practice in California. To enroll as a AAIR clinical provider, you must also be in good standing with your licensing, certifying, or registering board, and your license, certification, or registration must be at the full and unrestricted clinical level of practice. We are currently enrolling AAIR clinical providers in the following specialties:

  • Psychiatrists
  • Psychologists
  • Clinical social workers
  • Marriage and family therapists
  • Chemical dependency counselors
  • Pastoral counselors
  • Clinical interns (psychologists, marriage and family therapists, and clinical social workers only)

Providers with internship certification status may provide services to AAIR clients when the services are provided under a direct supervision agreement with an enrolled and licensed AAIR clinical provider.
